Download File Names

It is a characteristic that document files are held in the WIX Website Application with a long seemingly meaningless file name. When you request a download, it gives you this name.

Please rename the file in your environment to a name that means something to you..

When you upload a file to your Wix site, it is automatically assigned a name by our servers. Currently, it is not possible to customize the name of the file or to show the original name to your visitors when it's downloaded.

We are always working to update and improve our products, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
