The Laws of the Sport of Bowls

The sport of Lawn Bowls is played in accordance with the Laws of the Sport Crystal Mark Second Edition.

The Law books are now available from the Bowls England website

The Laws of the Sport Crystal Mark Second Edition became effective from 1st April 2011 in England.

The Laws can be viewed on the World Bowls Ltd website

Laws of the Sport Review
At a meeting of the World Bowls Ltd Board of Directors in April, future reviews of the laws were discussed. The following excerpt is recorded in the minutes:

"The second review of the Laws is now complete and it was thought that a complete review in another four years time was unnecessary. Should something require to be dealt with and a Law changed, it can be dealt with at a General Meeting and National Authorities advised accordingly. Addendum slips or some other sort of insertion at the relevant Law would suffice and prevent an unnecessary reprinting of the Laws of the Sport booklet."
